Most reports about HIV/AIDS would normally focus on cure and prevention methods. However, recent updates somehow mentioned of a confession concerning the real purpose of the virus, which is to depopulate the world.
The person behind HIV and AIDS, Dr. Robert Gallo, reportedly confessed of his creation of the virus for the sole purpose of reducing the world's population, according to Anti News Network. In retrospect, the said virus was said to be discovered in 1984, and in the same year, Dr. Gallo filed a U.S. patent application for his invention of the HIV/AIDS virus.

Based on the report, the AIDS Virus is said to be a designer bi-product of the U.S. Special Virus program. It is a program developed and was able to operate in the US from 1962 until 1978.
However, although alleged facts were given to the report, another report claimed of its accuracy. The report of Dr. Gallo confessing of the purpose of his invention is false, according to Snopes.
The said publication identified the source of the report, which is Your News Wire. Such website is known for its false and fabricated stories, hoaxes and conspiracy theories.
The original headline of the report reads as "Dr. Gallo: 'I Invented AIDS to Depopulate Humanity." The report then proceeded in claiming that, "Dr. Robert Gallo, the scientist credited with 'discovering' the HIV virus in 1984, has admitted that he created AIDS in order to reduce the world's population."
However, despite the series of reports citing the said headline, it was cleared out that Dr. Robert Gallo has never "admitted that he created AIDS to reduce the world's population," or made any statement remotely to that effect.
Meanwhile, the UNAIDS indicate in their recent report that there are almost 36.7 million of people worldwide living with HIV/AIDS. And in 2015, 2.1 million individuals worldwide became newly infected with the said virus.
