Microsoft Lumia 650 is finally unveiled, a smartphone primarily designed for businessmen with a pre-installed Windows 10 office. For $199, users will get both Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Office. Microsoft OneDrive lets users save their files in the cloud platform, so they can access information even with their mobile devices.

The Microsoft Lumia 650 smartphone comes with OLED 5 inch display with a resolution of 720p, The Verge reported. It is to be run by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 212, 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU processor and a RAM of 1GB. The device is equipped with 16GB internal storage that is expandable through 200GB capable microSD.

Other features include an 8 MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The front camera is equipped with a wide angle lens that enables users to take selfies with more people. Aside from the great camera, the Lumia 650 is a lightweight phone which highlights great functions like typing and spreadsheet and document processing. However, unlike the other Lumia predecessors like the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, this smartphone does not support the Windows 10 Continuum.

The Microsoft Lumia 650 device is wrapped in the company's usual packaging for the Lumia series. Its box is pretty simple that slides to open. Upon opening, the box comes with a literature featuring FAQs and How-To instructions, battery, and its corresponding charger. The device comes is a Windows 10 Build 10586.11, but the cumulative February update is already downloadable on the handset.

Microsoft released in a report last January that Microsoft Lumia 650 will be the last in the Lumia series, Windows Central reported. The company has decided to shift focus on another flagship device such as the highly anticipated Surface series. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is speculated to be launched before 2017 comes in.

While the company is releasing one gadget after another, the company is reportedly struggling with keeping up with competitors in the market, specifically the iOS and Android operated devices. One of the most prominents issues that Windows-operated devices have is the obvious lack of third applications.

Microsoft Lumia 650 was released in Feb. 18, Thursday with two color variants, black and white.
