Sony Xperia XZ Premium
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium flagship smartphone that was launched in February is now available in the U.S. for buying.
The Xperia XZ Premium flagship is the first Snapdragon 835 chipset driven smartphone that was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ that were announced in March were the first Snapdragon 835 chipset smartphone that was made available for purchase in April. Even though the Xperia XZ Premium smartphone was announced earlier, it is only now that it has been made available for purchase officially in the U.S, Android Central reported.

The Xperia XZ Premium is now available for buying through Amazon and Best Buy. The unlocked smartphone is now available for buying with a pricing of $799. It is available in color choices such as black and chrome. From July 3, the pink colored Xperia XZ Premium will also go on sale on Amazon and Best Buy. The unlocked smartphone is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile carriers.
The Xperia XZ Premium is the only Snapdragon 835 driven flagship that features a 4K display that supports a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. Its 5.46-inch screen supports a whopping pixel density of 807 ppi. The Snapdragon 835 chipset on the Xperia XZ Premium is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 64 GB. It also features a microSD card slot.
The phone is running on Android 7.1 Nougat. The U.S. variant of the flagship lacks a fingerprint reader. The Japanese company had to disable the feature in the U.S. as it is legally barred from selling fingerprint senor enabled smartphones in the country. It has a 19-megapixel MotionEye camera on its rear side whereas the front panel is fitted with a 13-megapixel snapper. Its other features include Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C port. It is packed with a 3,230mAh battery, Phone Arena reported.
