Tabata explained that it will take one year for Square Enix to develop "Final Fantasy XV" on the PC platform and will likely launch sometime in 2018. Yoshida noted that the story is the key for "Final Fantasy XIV's" development and when asked how long he thought that accomplishing that specific goal would take, he replied that he thinks they would need at least another "two more expansions.”
As for the "Final Fantasy XV, " Yoshida stated that plans for these are moving forward, as the "Final Fantasy XV" team has settled down on their end. They feel that it is going to be rather hefty in volume in terms of the crossover.
Both teams will make an official announcement for the crossover, once they are able to get some visual references, available graphics and timing.
