It is tradition of a WWE 2K game to feature a Wrestling legend who will arrive as a pre-order bonus. Fans saw Sting, The Ultimate Warrior, and Bill Goldberg as exclusive playable character in past titles in the franchise.
"WWE 2K18", according to Cageside Seats, will likely see the appearance of Olympic Gold medalist and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle as the latest title's legendary playable superstar. Angle made his big return to WWE and inducted into the Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania 33.
After which, he has assumed a role on-screen as the general manager of Monday Night Raw. Neither WWE nor 2K Games has confirmed yet if Angle will be the "WWE 2K18" pre-order bonus' exclusive playable character but recent rumors indicate that the trailer reveal of the former champion will be streamed soon.
It's recently confirmed that superstar Seth "The Kingslayer" Rollins is the face of "WWE 2K18" cover following the leak on who is this year's game's cover star. Also, it will come with two special editions, namely the Deluxe and Collector's Edition.
While 2K has yet to announce the contents of the latter, the former will contain the main game with special packaging, season pass, pre-order bonus digital content, and the Collector's Edition digital content. Players who pre-order either Deluxe or Collector's Edition will get an early access beginning October 13, that's four days prior to official launching of the game.
"WWE 2K18" release date on Xbox One and PS4 platforms is set on October 17, while a PC version is believed to be released later. There is no mention of an Xbox 360 and PS3 release, thus, it's assumed that the game will no longer support last gen consoles.
