According to statistical data, 40 percent of people are being affected by "Nomophobia," which is basically the fear of not having their smartphone with them. While others remain to be addicted to such device, there are a few who wants to break free from compulsive smartphone use.

Additionally, you should be able to identify the difference between interacting in-person and online. By means of the social support group, try to make contact with others in person, without relying much on your device.
Lastly, you should try to modify your smartphone use. Use it moderately and when necessary. This will surely help you overcome the addiction while cutting back your smartphone use to a much healthier level.
