Citing test results from Geekbench, reports mentions LG G5 scored 2248 in single core test and 5061 in multi core tests. In aftermath of its Geekbench testing, specs of LG G5 have become much clearer prior to its official launch. Reports conclude, just basing from the recent Geekbench testing result, that LG G5 shall sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset. LG's next flagship will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be supported by 4 GB RAM.
Earlier, LG had confirmed that the new smartphone will have a feature called "Always On." This feature will enable the smartphone to show date, time and notifications even when phone is idle. Tech Advisor reported that the smartphone will also have a semi-transparent mesh cover for user's convenience. With the said cover, users will be able to receive calls and operate alarm settings without opening the smartphone's case.
Preliminary leaks had suggested that LG G5 would have a new dual and rear camera setting. According to leaks and speculations, LG G5 will sport a 16MP rear camera with a wide angle view of 135 degrees. The much-awaited smartphone may also sport a ticker display similar to LG V10.
It is also speculated that LG G5 is likely to feature a 5.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. It may also be equipped with 64GB inbuilt memory with micro SD card slot for expansion up to 200GB storage.
