The leaked specs of the HP Elite X3 suggest that it is going to be the most powerful Windows 10 Mobile smartphone. The Elite X3 is slated to get announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event.

The alleged HP Elite X3 is a new phablet from the company that is decked with high-end specs. Tech2, a tech site from Hungary has revealed the entire specifications and images of the HP Elite X3 phablet, WM Power User reported. The phablet is codenamed as HP Falcon.

Currently, there is no Windows 10 Mobile OS powered smartphone that features a Snapdragon 820 chipset. However, the HP Elite X3 is expected to be fueled by SD 820 chip and Windows 10 Mobile. It is going to be more powerful than the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL that features a Snapdragon 810 chipset under its hood.

A 5.96-inch display will be present on the HP Elite X3 smartphone. It will be capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Snapdragon chipset of the phablet will be coupled by 4 GB of RAM.

It will be offering a native storage of 32 GB. Its owners will be able to use up to 200 GB of microSD card on its expansion slot. The rear camera of the HP Elite X3 will be of 16 MP. For snapping selfies, it will come equipped with 8 MP.

With USB 3.0 Type-C slot onboard, the device will be able to carry Qi-wireless charging support. Also, it will allow users to take advantage of the Continuum feature of Windows 10. The smartphone will be able to deliver robust security as it is expected to sport a fingerprint scanner as well as an iris canner that will be positioned at the bottom of display.

HP Elite X3 is predicted to feature a special dock connector on its rear panel for attaching accessories like credit card reader. With IP67 certification onboard, the HP Elite X3 will be arriving with a dust and water-resistant chassis.

The MIL-STD-810G rating suggests that even though it sports a thickness of 7.8 mm, it will be a durable phablet that will remain undamaged even if it falls from a height of 3 feet. The details on the battery size are unavailable, GSM Arena reported.
