HP Elite X3
HP has showcased the HP Elite X3, a smartphone running on Windows 10 Mobile OS at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 tech trade show. Since it comes with high-end specs, it has been designed to kill flagship smartphones.
Even though HP Elite X3 is a smartphone, it can function like a notebook or a desktop PC, BGR reported. The smartphone features a massive AMOLED screen of 5.96-inch that is shielded by Gorilla Glass 4 and anti-reflective coating.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that features a Snapdragon 820 chipset under its hood. It features a quad-core processor that clocks at 2.15 GHz and Adreno 530 graphics. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It is endowed with ample storage space of 64 GB.
The rear camera of the HP Elite X3 is of 16 MP whereas the one present on the front side is of 8 MP. Like the Lumia 950 and 950 XL smartphones, the Elite X3 houses an iris scanner on the front panel. It comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Mobile OS.
For Continuum, Microsoft offers a Display Dock for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones. In the same way, HP is offering HP Desk Dock for the users of Elite X3 for the Continuum feature. It comes with additional docks such as HP Mobile Extender that delivers a laptop experience. The dock called HP Display is for desktop experience.
The HP Elite X3 is equipped with dual front-facing speakers. Since it comes with IP67 certification, its chassis is resistant to water and dust. The Elite X3 phablet measures 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. It is packed with a massive battery of 4150 mAh capacity.
The HP Elite X3 that is advertised as "the one device that's every device" by the company is a very strong rival for the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL. The Elite X3 is packed with better specs and features than the Lumia 950 XL which is said to be the most powerful Windows 10 Mobile smartphone at present, Phone Arena reported.
HP has not announced the pricing and availability of the Elite X3 yet. However, speculations suggest that it will be priced around $600 to $700. As far as availability is concerned, it is expected to hit the market by summer.
