T-Mobile has confirmed that it will start selling the smartphone from Jan. 26. T-Mobile customers will be able to avail it through Jump On Demand program that allows users to switch up to three new smartphones a year. It is not known as to when Sprint will start supporting BlackBerry Priv

AT&T started supporting the BlackBerry Priv from November. It is selling the smartphone with an off-contract price of $699. Hence, the aforementioned carriers are also expected to launch the BlackBerry Priv with similar pricing.

The BlackBerry Priv is the first Android smartphone from the company. However, John Chen, the CEO of BlackBerry has confirmed that the company may unveil at least two Android OS-powered BlackBerry smartphones in this year, CNET reported.

Chen has also stated if the firm is unable to generate profits in this year, he would sell off the smartphone business. However, he is confident that BlackBerry will make profits in 2016. Since the sales of the BlackBerry have been impressive, Chen added that it was a correct decision from the company to venture into manufacturing Android smartphone.
