At a time when all manufacturers stopped building new windows phone, HP is going all-in on one phone - the HP Elite X3. The Elite X3 is a top end phone from HP running on Windows 10, and it is designed to replace your smartphone, laptop and desktop pc.
The HP Elite X3 is a phablet with 6-inch quad HD display. It is running on a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using external microSD card. HP has also managed to squeeze in an iris scanner and a fingerprint scanner on the upcoming smartphone. Spec wise, the HP Elite X3 is a monster and it is more powerful than the Microsoft's flagship the Lumia 950XL.

The phone also supports the Continuum feature by Windows 10. It lets the windows phone to be plugged on to a larger display and function almost like a full blown windows pc. The only drawback of continuum is that it cannot run all the windows programs. HP is even trying to solve that problem by providing an app that can run all the windows apps from cloud.
At 6 inch screen display, the HP Elite X3 matches in size with the Nexus 6, and there are not many devices capable of doing that. Now let us compare the size of this mammoth 6 incher with some of the flagships available in the market.
Let's be first clear about the size of the HP Elite X3. It measures 161.8 x 83.5 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 grams. The iPhone 6S Plus is having 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm dimensions and weighs 192 grams. Next comes the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm and 171 grams, both the new Nexus phones the 6P and 5X are smaller than the Elite X3, measures 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm and 147 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm respectively.
The latest smartphone from LG - the LG G5 - is also smaller than the Elite X3 at 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.3 mm. The comparison goes on and it is clear from the above comparison that the HP Elite X3 is one of the biggest phones available right now in the market, both spec wise and in size.
