Xiaomi Mi 5
The newly announced Xiaomi Mi 5 smartphone has been benchmarked on AnTuTu. Its scores are higher than the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7.
This week, three Snapdragon 820 chipset powered smartphones were announced, the Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi 5. During the launch event of the Xiaomi Mi 5, the Vice-President of the company, Hugo Barra constantly mentioned the Xiaomi Mi 5 is currently the most powerful smartphone.

In order to reveal the prowess of Xiaomi Mi 5, Barra revealed the AnTuTu score of Xiaomi Mi 5. The new Xiaomi flagship has scored a whopping high score of 142,084, Phone Arena reported.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is available in two CPU versions of Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890. The Galaxy S7 with Exynos chip onboard was also benchmarked on AnTuTu with a score of 116,668. Its Snapdragon 820 model has not been benchmarked on AnTuTu. The LG G5 has managed to score a high score of 135,054 on AnTuTu.
Both Galaxy S7 and LG feature Quad HD screens. However, the Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a full HD display, Android Headlines reported. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has defeated the LG G5 and Galaxy S7 on AnTuTu benchmarks. However, one needs to be aware of the fact that the benchmark scores of Mi 5 has been revealed by the company. The real performance of these smartphones can be only known when it is benchmarked by the end user or tech experts.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is fitted with a 5.15-inch IPS LCD display screen that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It features a fingerprint scanner under its display. The Snapdragon 820 SoC is present inside the Mi 5. The chipset features a quad-core processor and Adreno 530 graphics.
The MI 5 comes in three storage editions. The 32 GB and 64 GB storage models include 3 GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro edition comes with 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. There is no external storage on any of the three variants.
It features a 16 MP rear camera and a front-facing shooter of 8 MP. For connectivity, it comes with Cat. 12 LTE modem, USB Type-C and Wi-Fi. It is packed with a 3000 mAh battery.
