Apple is expected to announce its all-new 4-inch iPhone SE on March 21.

The rumor mill has been consistently talking on the 4-inch iPhone that is going to release in the near future. It has been dubbed with numerous names such as iPhone 7C, iPhone 6C and iPhone 5se. However, fresh rumors suggest that it will be launched with the iPhone SE moniker. Here "SE" stands for "special edition", 9to5 Mac reported.

The 4-inch iPhone SE is expected to get unveiled on March 21. Previous rumors had been claimed that the iPhone SE would be launched on March 15 and it would become available for purchase by March 18. However, fresh information has indicated that the company will be announcing the iPhone SE at its Town Hall in Cupertino, Mac Rumors reported

Apple has not revealed any details of its upcoming 4-inch smartphone. However, it is expected to be powered by Apple A9 chipset and M9 motion co-processor that also fuels the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones. Its 4-inch screen will not carry support for 3D Touch.

Ming-Chi Kuo, the popular analyst from KGI Securities has revealed that like the current iPhone 6S models, the iPhone SE will be also featuring a 12 MP rear camera. Early rumors had suggested that it will be coming with 8 MP of rear camera.

Kuo further stated that the iPhone SE will arrive in two storage options of 16 GB and 64 GB. It will be packed with a 1642 mAh battery.  The iPhone SE will be available for $400 to $500. The price of the older iPhone 5S is expected to fall down to $225 with the arrival of the iPhone SE. Kuo has predicted that the company will be initially shipping 12 million units of the iPhone SE.

On March 21, Apple is also expected to unleash a new edition of iPad. Early rumors had suggested that it will be called iPad Air 3, but the most recent information has revealed that it will be launched as a smaller version of its iPad Pro tablet. It is expected to launch as 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Speculations are rife that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will borrow some of the features from its larger sibling. It is expected to come with features like Apple A9X chip, 4 GB of RAM, Apple Pencil support, Smart Connector and LED flash for its rear camera.
