Tekken 7 is a fighting game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment as the ninth installment in the Tekken series.
New "Tekken 7" details will feature more guest characters, a lower price for the PlayStation VR and a possible late 2016 launch date for the PlayStation 4.
It seems that "Tekken 7's" virtual reality gameplay feature could be a dream come true for gaming fans as Game Director Katsuhiro Harada is hoping for a cheaper price for Sony's PlayStation VR headset. Harada answered a fans question on Twitter, when he asked that if the latter was hoping for a cheaper price on the PlayStation VR. Harada tweeted a reply saying that he hopes it will be cheaper around $300 to $400.

Sony announced during the PlayStation Experience event last year, that "Tekken 7" will have an exclusive VR gameplay feature using the PlayStation VR as Bandai is currently working on the sequel and "Summer Lesson", which are both compatible to the headset, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
However, game designer Michael Murray stated his opnions on "Tekken 7" having VR gameplay as he explains the difficulties of adding that feature within the sequel. He fears that adding VR gameplay in "Tekken 7" as a standard will not suite well with other gaming fans as they wanted to play the game as it is and added the lack of VR headsets, since not everyone can afford it.
Aside from the VR gameplay, Bandai Namco also teased othe possible guest characters in "Tekken 7". Akuma from the "Street Fighter" franchise was added to the sequel's updated version "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" as a playable character.
Both Murray and Harada stated that they were against the policy of adding guest characters in "Tekken 7" as they will change the continuety and flow of the story and its game setting.
Murray added that as of now, Akuma is the only guest character planned for the game, but he and Bandai Namco are still open with the idea of more guest characters crossing over "Tekken 7".
Lastly, "Tekken 7'S" launch date could be set on late 2016 as Bandai Namco will be promoting "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" for the Japanese arcades in the early months, GameRevolution reported.
Several rumors and speculations claim that "Tekken 7" could be out in next month for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles as Harada wanted to be ahead of the competition, and Bandai Namco may begin development of the next crossover game with Capcom, "Tekken X Street Fighter".
"Tekken 7's" roster includes Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Xiaoyu, Asuka, Lili, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Lars, Alisa, Leo, King, Yoshimitsu, Bryan Fury, Dragunov, Feng Wei, Devil Jin, Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, Josie Rizal, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, Shaheen, Jack-7 and Kazumi Mishima.
