Apple is expected to announce a new 4-inch iPhone that is dubbed as iPhone SE by the rumor mill on March 21.  The Cupertino-based tech company is still silent on the existence of the iPhone SE, but the rumor mill has been constantly talking about the smartphone. Premium Design

The last 4-inch smartphones from Apple, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C did not arrive with metallic chassis. However, the upcoming iPhone SE Is heavily pegged to be endowed with full metallic chassis. As far as the design is concerned, it is expected to deliver the best of iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S. Like the current generation iPhone 6S models, the iPhone SE will be also featuring color options like gray, silver, gold and rose gold, 9 to 5 Mac reported

Faster CPU

The iPhone 6S is powered by Apple A9 chipset and M9 motion co-processor. The same combination is expected to fuel the iPhone SE. The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus smartphones feature 2 GB of RAM. However, the iPhone SE will be coming with 1GB of RAM.

Inbuilt Storage Options

The iPhone 6S variants are available in three storage editions. However, the iPhone SE will be arriving in two storage options, namely 16 GB and 64 GB. Rumors have ruled out 128 GB option for iPhone SE.

Better Camera

The iPhone SE is expected to house a 12 MP shooter on its rear shell. It will be accompanied by a single LED flash and is speculated to carry support for Live Photos.

No 3D Touch

Recently, a leaked photo of the internal parts of the display had surfaced. It showed that the iPhone SE will not be featuring 3D Touch, a feature that is available on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus smartphones. The 3D Touch feature equipped with a pressure sensitive display allows the smartphone to distinguish between different kinds touchscreen pressure gestures.

Larger Battery

The iPhone 5S features a small battery of 1560 mAh capacity. However, the same-sized Apple iPhone SE is expected to house a bigger 1642 mAh battery, Mac Rumors reported.
