South Korea is an exception to this where Samsung users have already downloaded this 1 GB plus update. The update was made available through the Samsung's smart switch app. Users at South Korea have actually added Doze Mode and Now on Tap features on their Samsung devices by updating them with Android Marshmallow.
Through Marshmallow OS, user interface experience is going to increase and it shall also make device usage more convenient. Also, it has more security features and enhanced battery backup compared to previous Android OS releases.
According to Telus, a Canadian mobile carrier, these updates are scheduled as early as March 13 for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, while the update for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge shall be made available on April 13, 2016. Remaining Android M updates shall be done in between these time periods.
Samsung website claims that these updates will take user experience on Samsung phones to the next level, with it offering a beautiful Edge screen and shall be making it more convenient to use than ever. Though the updates have already been started since February, not all the phones have got this update as the roll out still depends on consumer's mobile carriers.
The roll out in U.K. is expected to come out within 2 to 3 weeks, and users in U.S. shall be getting the updates in March and April. Although, there is no precise dates on when the Samsung Android M shall be released to specific US carriers.
