The recently held Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 started on full throttle with Samsung and LG announcing their flagship smartphones.
There are rumors that LG G5 release date is imminent.
The specifications of the upcoming LG G5 are rumored to be really amazing. Overall, the LG G5 looks like the ultimate flag ship to look out for this year, according to GSM Arena.
The features and specs of a LG G5 prototype are also leaked online, according to Android Authority. As per the prototype, the phone will come with a uni metal body, which is different from its predecessor. It is also strongly rumored that LG did not equip this flag ship with a removable battery. However, a micro SD slot is a part of this device.

It is rumored that the LG G5 will be featuring a 5.3-inch Quad HD display along with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820 chipset. There are also rumors that 3 GB of RAM will be coupled with this powerful processor, to make the device even faster.
It is also rumored that the LG G5 will be supporting a dual camera setup. This can also be seen in the leaked image of the device's prototype. It is speculated that the main camera unit which will be situated at the back of the phone will be sporting a 16 mega pixel sensor and the front camera will be featuring an 8 mega pixel sensor.
These camera will also come with support for the laser autofocus feature. It is also expected that the main camera will be armed with an iris scanner, and the phone will not sport the finger print scanner. It might also happen that the device is equipped with both the security features of iris scanner and finger print scanner. A heart rate monitor is also strongly rumored to be a part of the device.
Other LG G5 features might include an IR blaster, USB Type C connection port, single speaker, and also a pressure sensor. The inclusion of the pressure sensor is a bit dicey at the moment.
Furthermore, the LG G5 release date is reportedly been set to be as early as February. However, the South Korean tech giant is yet to confirm any LG G5 related information.
