Reports claim that the newest Windows 10 preview updates may cause some Microsoft Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book to completely freeze.
Microsoft, after it stops accepting bitcoin payments on its official Windows Store, recently announced that it will continue to support bitcoin. The tech giant said in a statement that "inaccurate information" that were posted online caused the confusion.
The Redmond-based company told Tech Crunch, "We continue to support Bitcoin for adding money to your Microsoft account which can be used for purchasing content in the Windows and Xbox stores. We apologize for inaccurate information that was inadvertently posted to a Microsoft site, which is currently being corrected."

On March 14, just over a year after Microsoft started accepting bitcoin payments on its online portals, the tech company inadvertently stopped accepting the cryptocurrency for all digital purchases made through customer accounts.
The error was first spotted by software encyclopedia Softpedia. The news was immediately confirmed by an FAQ note for customers posted on the official Microsoft website. The note states that users can no longer redeem bitcoin into their Microsoft account. The note added that existing bitcoin balance can still be used for purchases on the Microsoft Store, but cannot be refunded.
Microsoft has yet to comment about how the erroneous information made its way into its official page. According to Digital Trends, the erroneous page has now been removed and the link now redirects to the official Windows 10 support page. Another page was added and it provides details on how to use bitcoin in adding funds into users' Microsoft account.
The latest move from Microsoft came in a very challenging time for the bitcoin community which is currently divided whether the digital currency needs to upgrade its infrastructure in order to increase its capacity and handle its unprecedented growth.
Microsoft was lauded by the tech community when it started accepting the cryptocurrency bitcoin into its online stores sometime at the end of 2014. The company partnered with online payment firm Bitpay in adopting bitcoin into its platform.
Microsoft is one of the many large tech companies that support bitcoin. While Microsoft's support over the cryptocurrency is considered by many tech analysts as minimal and not enough to make or break bitcoin, it is still a major boost in the effort of putting bitcoin into the mainstream consciousness.
