The BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is now available on preorders with a pricing of $289.
The BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is a unique tablet as it is not powered by Windows, Android or IOS like the usual tablets. Instead it arrives preloaded with the very famous edition of Linux, the Ubuntu OS. Even though the aforementioned operating systems are highly popular, Canonical is one of the well-known operating systems that stand a good chance to give competition to the ones that are leading the competition.

However, there are several others that fallen out of contention. For instance, Mozilla, a company that is known for its very famous web browser, Firefox has killed support for its Firefox that was built for mobile platform. Since Ubuntu has a strong community behind it with devoted users, there is a possibility that it may remain in competition for longer period, Phone Arena reported.
One of the powerful features of Ubuntu that is available on the BQ Aquaris M10 tablet is Convergence. It is a feature that works similar to Continuum functionality available on Windows 10. It enables users to connect different kinds of PC peripherals to the device to use it like a full-fledged PC. Hence, users can seamlessly connect a mouse and a keyboard to the BQ Aquaris M10 tablet to avail a full-blown desktop experience.
The BQ Aquaris M10 tablet comes in two variants. The first model features low-end configuration whereas the other comes with high-end features. The first model comes with 10.1-inch screen that supports a resolution of 800 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek chipset that features a quad-core processor working at 1.3 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM. This edition that is only available in white color.
The higher-end model also features a 10.1-inch screen that supports a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The MediaTek chipset of this device features a quad-core processor working at higher speed of 1.5 GHz. It is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM. This variant that can be only availed in black color.
Both the tablets also come with some common features such as 16 GB of native storage, a microSD card slot, an 8 MP camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera and a huge battery of 7280 mAh capacity. The launch offer allows users to avail a free display guard and Duo Case in multiple colors like blue, black and red. Both the variants of BQ Aquaris M10 tablet are now available on preorders with their respective pricing of $289 and $335, Pocket Now reported.
