In its first party Notes app for iOS 9.3, Apple has given the feature to protect notes with a password for enhanced functionality.
A significant fraction of Apple users have upgraded to the recently released iOS 9.3 update when it was released. The new iOS version brings a handful of new features as well as security updates. These new features make iOS 9.3 the most stable operating system, which is the reason why some users are anticipating the release of its jailbreak version.

Since the release of iOS 9 in September 2015, prominent jailbreak source Pangu was only able to release jailbreak versions of iOS 9, iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2, according to Forbes. However, Apple was quick to respond to these hacks and the vulnerabilities were quickly patched which in turn deactivated that jailbreak versions.
Earlier this month, the Pangu team was able to release a jailbreak version of iOS 9.1. Reports claim that the Pangu team is focusing more on older versions of iOS 9 instead of pushing the release of iOS 9.2. On the other hand, Apple is also vigilant in releasing patches in order to block jailbreak versions of iOS to spread. According to Gizmondo, Apple even integrated new measures in order to make sure that users who upgraded who iOS 9.3 cannot revert back to an older version.
As part of the company's effort to curb jailbreak versions of its operating system, devices that have downloaded iOS 9.2 will not be able to roll back to older iOS versions.
Following the release of iOS 9.3, Italian developer Luca Todesco claims that he was able to successfully penetrate the operating system and create a jailbreak version. Much to the disappointed of the jailbreak community, Todesco announced that he will not release the jailbreak to the public.
Many tech analysts claim that due to the improved security updates Apple made on iOS, the jailbreak community will have a harder time penetrating the operating system. Prominent jailbreak sources like Pangu and TaiG have both promised that they are working on newer jailbreak versions. However, the release date of these jailbreak iOS versions are still a big question.
Although unconfirmed, there are speculations that a jailbreak version of iOS 9.3 should be ready by April. Rumors claim that the jailbreak community is taking its time to make sure that a refined version of iOS 9.3 will be released in order to make it difficult for Apple to patch the vulnerability.
