The Moto X 2016 smartphone has been found listed on Zauba import-export website. The rumor mill has revealed some of its key specs.
In the previous year, Motorola had released Moto X Pure Edition (2015) that is also known as Moto X Style for other markets. Rumors are rife that Motorola is working on its successor smartphone. An Indian import-export website, Zauba has listed the alleged smartphone with the moniker "Motorola Moto X3". Phone Arena reported.

The Zauab listing has revealed that the smartphone will be arriving with a 5-inch display. It has also mentioned that it is GSM device with single SIM support. Apart from this, the Zauba listing has not revealed any other information.
Motorola Mobility is owned by Lenovo. Unlike last year, the 2016 versions of Moto X, Moto G and Moto E smartphones are going to carry Lenovo branding. However, Zauba has listed the alleged Moto X3 with Motorola branding.
After the release the first generation Moto X in 2013, Motorola did not launch its successor Moto X2 but the fourth generation model that will release later this year is going to called Moto X3. In the past, the import-export website from India has revealed correct details of unannounced devices. Hence, it is likely that the successor model for Moto X Style will be released as Moto X3.
Nothing much is known on the rumored specs of Moto X3. However, there is a possibility that the 5-inch screen of the Moto X3 will carry support for Quad HD resolution as the predecessor model also supports it. The Snapdragon 820 SoC is likely to fuel Moto X3 as most flagships this year are powered by the same Qualcomm chipset, International Business Times reported.
A leaked image of the rear panel of the purported Moto X3 had surfaced in December 2015. It suggested that the Moto X3 would be arriving with a metal unibody design. The rear camera is expected to receive a major upgrade this year as the back panel features a large circular hole with dual-tone flash. The Moto X3 is also expected to feature a heat pipe to prevent overheating issues.
The arrival of the Moto X3 seems close at hand as the price of the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has been officially slashed. It is now available with a $100 discount on Motorola, Best Buy and Amazon.
