The Huawei P9 smartphone is expected to get announced on April 6. Its specifications have been revealed through GFXBench listing.
The Huawei P9 is the flagship smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer for this year. It is expected to be unveiled in four editions, namely Huawei P9, Huawei P9 Lite, Huawei P9 Max and a special edition version with high-end specs.

The specifications of the Huawei P9 has now surfaced on GFXBench before its upcoming launch date of April 6, GSM Arena reported. In the previous month, its specs were revealed through AnTuTu benchmarks.
It is interesting to note that the specs of Huawei P9 model that was revealed on AnTuTu is slightly different from the P9 specs that has emerged through GFXBench. The Huawei P9 that showed up on AnTuTu features 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage which indicates that it may be the P9 Max or special edition of P9.
GFXBench has revealed that the Huawei P9 will be arriving with a 5.1-inch display that will carry support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 955 chipset along with Mali T880 graphics and 3 GB of RAM.
It features a 12 MP dual-camera setup on its backside. It is expected to carry support for Optical Image Stabilization. All the other variants of P9 are also expected to house a dual-camera system on their rear panel. The front-facing camera of the Huawei P9 is of 8 MP.
It will arrive with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS onboard. Rumors suggest that it will also feature a fingerprint scanner. It is expected to be packed with a battery of 2900 mAh capacity.
Recently, a leaked photo of the rear shell of the Huawei P9 was spotted. It showed a Leica branding for its dual-camera setup. Also, it carries a new text-only Huawei branding at its bottom side, NDTV reported. The Huawei P9 is speculated to carry a pricing of €599.90 ($681) in Europe.
The Huawei P9 Lite is said to be a stripped down version of P9 with specs like Snapdragon 650, 2 GB of RAM. It is expected to cost $289. The Huawei P9 Max will feature a 6-inch display, Kirin 955 SoC and 4 GB of RAM and it will be priced around $627.
