Make-A-Wish Scooter
A scooter donated by a San Francisco Giants player to the Make-A-Wish children's charity has been recovered and two men have been arrested. The vehicle had been autographed and given to the charity's San Fran branch.
Outfielder Hunter Pence donated the scooter for a charity auction last year. After a donor bid $40,000 for the vehicle to win a dinner with Pence, it was stored in the Make-A-Wish office.

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee reported the good news in person to the Make-A-Wish Foundation office. That was on April 5, Tuesday.
The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) arrested 37-year-old Judd Janke and 26-year-old Nicholas Tiller as suspects in the scooter's theft. SFPD is still looking for a third suspect in the case.
Bay Area police officers recovered the vehicle on Tuesday when they recognized the two men in security video. They then recovered the two-wheeler.
The robbery happened on April 2, Saturday. Make-A-Wish Foundation spokeswoman Jen Wilson reported that the burglars also stole laptops, iPads, backpacks, and other items. The iPad tablets were donated by the San Francisco Giants and the mayor's office.
Pence said before a Giants-Brewers game on April 4, Monday that he was shocked to learn the scooter had been stolen. He praised the charity for changing the lives of many kids and suggested that things would work out, according to CBS News.
This was actually the second time the scooter had been stolen. Wilson suggested that stealing from a charity is one of the worst types of pilfering.
Last year the non-profit organization Make-A-Wish granted 400 wishes of Bay Area children with life-threatening medical conditions.
In related news a Bay Area tech worker wrote an open letter to Mayor Lee and Police Chief Greg Suhr to complain that homeless people are ruining the city, according to CNN. He explained that every day he sees people lying on sidewalks and people addicted to drugs.
Entrepreneur Justin Keller asked Lee and Suhr how they will solve the problem. Keller has been living in the city for three years and argued it is now in the worst state during that time period.
