The iPhone SE is said to give excellent performance, as it has a perfect size and is comfortable to use, but it also has some drawbacks.
The newly overhauled iPhone SE is unexpectedly selling like hot cakes these past few weeks, which made Apple to make more models of both the 16GB and 64GB versions. Apple store itself ran out of stocks and these phones can either be bought outside of Apple or other retailers, which may also probably be experiencing what Apple is going through. With these unanticipated gigantic sales of the iPhone SE units, its manufacturer needed more weeks before they can have more supplies available again.

According to Apple Insider, the new iPhone SE units is said to be available again around April 20 but there were consumers who can't wait that long and paid for the expedited shipping fee. For those who ordered for express delivery of the iPhone SE units, models is said to arrive by April 12 in Apple in the U.S. The availability of iPhone SE models is by bits and pieces depending on the carrier, color combinations and capacity.
Since the SIM-free or unlocked models of iPhone SE have been going out of stock from almost everywhere, there are some carriers who still have units available however these are the ones with contract or with monthly bills. Statistically, there are still stocks of the iPhone SE 16GB version even if it costs lesser than the iPhone SE 64GB version, the lowest is at $399 and the latter is selling at $499. It wouldn't be surprising if the higher RAM gets sold out easily because of the small difference on the price, the higher memory version would be the best buy.
Apple was not able to predict that the reinvented 4-inches iPhone SE SIM-free version would be a big blast across US and other parts of the world like Hong Kong. As of the moment, Apple is showing end of April as the earliest date of availability for the next batch of SIM-free iPhone SE models, GSM Arena reported.
Hong Kong is also experiencing insufficient supplies of SIM-free iPhone SE these past few days, and the earliest date where new stocks will arrive is on April 16. One of KGI analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, stated that Apple may not be able to recuperate from their not so good sales last year.
