Unsurprisingly, the specifications of the HTC 10 are impressive. Some reviews have since claimed that the new HTC handset could easily match Samsung's flagship mobile device, the Samsung Galaxy S7.
So how does the HTC 10 stack up against the Samsung S7? Below is a comparison of arguably two of the best smartphones in the market at present.
Design
According to GizMag, the HTC 10 boasts of a stunning aluminum unibody design which has a chamfered edge running through the back of the phone. It clocks in at 5.74 inches with a 5.2 display screen, and weighs an impressively light 161 grams.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is designed similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S6. Unlike the S6, the Galaxy S7 is noticeably thicker and heavier than the previous model. According to PC Advisor, this is mainly due to the heavier and more efficient 3,000 mAh battery the S7 is equipped with. The Samsung phone measures 5.61 inches with a 5.1 inch screen display. It is lighter than the HTC 10, weighing only at 152 grams.
Specifications
The HTC 10 runs on a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 with 32 GB internal memory and 4GB of RAM. It has an internal 3000 mAh battery and 1440 X 2560 screen resolution. The phone boasts of a 12MP primary camera and 5MP front facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S7 likewise packed with a 3000 mAh battery. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor; however, the UK version of the phone would have an Exynos 8890 Octa. Like the HTC 10, it has a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
Price
The HTC 10 goes for $699 while the Samsung Galaxy S7 sells for $780.
