Since the issues that happen on daily basis can be healed on its own, users will not have the need to take iPhone to Apple Store to resolve issues, Phone Arena reported. Some of the issues that can be healed automatically on iPhone in future include water damage and dead pixels on the display.
One of the ways through which an iPhone can get damaged by water is when water comes into contact with its speaker component. If the iPhone remains in water for longer duration, the water that gets seeps inside it through speaker can cause render its useless.
However, with the self-healing feature onboard, the iPhone will be able to sense the seeping of water through the speaker component. To prevent the smartphone from getting damaged by water, its speaker will start playing a special tone in a loud volume in noisy environment. This will result in propelling of water without any human intervention.
The self-healing feature can also help in eliminating dead pixels from the screen of the iPhone. When the user of the iPhone asleep, the smartphone will automatically launch a diagnostic program that can last for several hours to check for dead pixels. The self-healing feature of the iPhone will also be capable of resolving problems with camera and cellular connectivity on its own without the need of showing the smartphone to a professional technician.
One should be aware of the fact the self-healing feature will not physical broken parts of the iPhone. Also, there is no official confirmation from the Cupertino company whether the feature will be made available in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones that are expected to get announced in September this year.
