Fortunately for fans, rumors about the specifications of Samsung's upcoming phone have made its way online. By all accounts, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is nothing but impressive.
Late last year, Samsung announced that they would be discontinuing their flagship NX1 cameras at least in Europe. According to the statement the company release, the decision came about because of the decreasing profitability of standalone cameras and video recorders.
"In The Netherlands, we have seen a gradual and sustained decline in demand for standalone digital cameras and camcorders and related accessories. For this reason, we have taken the decision to phase out the sales and marketing of these products. This is a local decision, based on local market conditions" read the statement.
Despite this worrisome news, Samsung fans need not be anxious as it seems like the company's plans for the Galaxy Note 6's camera can easily compete with their defunct camera line.
According to Android Geeks, Galaxy Note 6 would be equipped with an impressive and upgraded camera. This camera would have the same camera sensor, resolution and aperture as Samsung's flagship phone, the Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has a 12 megapixel camera and boasts of f/1.7 aperture, phase detection function and OIS.
Elsewhere, Forbes recently reported about a leak from GizmoChina revealing most of the specifications of the Galaxy Note 6. According to the leak as reported by the publication, the upcoming phone's display screen would clock in at 5.8 inches with 2k resolution.
The handset would be equipped with 6GB of ram, 256GB capacity and a 4200 mAh battery. It would be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chipset, which reportedly is 18 percent faster than the processor of Galaxy S7, HTC 10 and LG G5 - the Snapdragon 820. The leak also claimed that the phone would be water resistant.
Unfortunately, Samsung has yet to comment on the exciting Galaxy Note 6 rumors.
