Motorola Moto Z Play
The Motorola Moto Z Play has been spotted on the benchmarking website GFXBench with some of its key specifications revealed. The device is expected to be introduced at an event in China on Sept. 6.
According to GSM Arena, the Moto Z Play would be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz. It would have a 5.5-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device would run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the Adreno 506 GPU.

The Moto Z Play would come with a 3 GB of RAM in a 32 GB of internal storage. It will feature a 16-megapixel camera located at the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera great for selfies and video chats. It would be packed with a 3500 mAh battery.
Earlier this month, leaked images of Moto Z Play surfaced on Reddit showing that the smartphone would have a glass panel at the back, NDTV reported. Another leak on Chinese website Weibo showed a promotional poster for the smartphone outside a retailer's shop in China. The poster suggests that the Moto Z Play might support Moto Mod modules similar to the Moto Z series.
The Moto Z Play is likely to also feature fast charging technology that can last up to 10 hours of battery life with 15 minutes of single charge. It might run up to 36 hours on standby mode. Other rumors suggest that the smartphone would support 4K video recording capability and a 3510 mAh battery. Its measurements will be 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm with a weight of 165 grams.
