UMi Plus Smartphone With All High-End Features Officially Launched, is Available at $179.99 for Pre-Sale Starting Today
The UMi Plus smartphone with high-end features has been officially launched at the IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Germany and is currently available on a pre-sale for only at $179.9.
According to Phone Radar, the UMi Plus has a 5.5-inch SHARP IPS full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 2.5D glass on top. It is a metal phone made of 6000 Series aluminum alloy.

The UMi Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Mali-T860 skin. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which can also be extended up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The UMi Plus features a 13-megapiel camera at the back with a SAMSUNG®3L8 sensor, a dual LED flashlight, and a capability to record full high-definition 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. It features a 5-megapixel front camera with a GalaxyCore®GC5005 sensor.
The UMi Plus is packed with a powerful 4000 mAh battery. At the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing and the speaker grills. It supports dual hybrid SIM with 4G LTE connectivity.
The physical home button of the UMi Plus is below the display and has a fingerprint scanner embedded in it, The Droid Review reported. UMi claims that this fingerprint scanner has an unlocking speed of only 0.1s.
The retail pricing of the UMi Plus is $219.99 (around Rs. 14,630). However, the phablet-sized smartphone can be bought as low as $179.99 during the pre-sale period that starts on Thursday.
