The release of the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, the world's first Project Tango-enabled smartphone, has been delayed until fall.
According to Phone Radar, the $499 Phab 2 Pro was expected to go on sale soon since it unveiled in June. However, Chinese mobile manufacturer Lenovo has now pushed the device's availability date to fall from summer.

The Phab 2 Pro will not be available in certain countries initially listed like Australia. The company wants to focus more on other markets like the Asia-Pacific. There is a possibility that the device will be launched in India sometime next month.
The Phab 2 Pro has a 6.4-inch quad high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels along with a 2.5D curved glass overlaid. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with the Adreno 510 GPU.
The Phab 2 Pro can be used for 3D mapping, which is the main theme of Google's Project Tango, NDTV reported. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 128 GB via a microSD card.
The Phab 2 Pro features a 16-megapixels camera at the back and an 8-megapixels front camera for selfies. It is packed with a 4050 mAh non-removable battery. It measures 179.80 x 88.60 x 10.70 mm and weighs 250 grams.
The Phab 2 Pro is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi, and 4G. It includes a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, and a gyroscope, as well as a rear fingerprint scanner.
This is the third smartphone in the Phab series following the Lenovo Phab and Phab Plus, which were launched last year.
