The Zen Admire Star costs at $49.41 (around Rs. 3290) in India.
A new entry-level smartphone under Zen's "Admire" series called the Zen Admire Star has been launched at $49.41 (around Rs. 3290) in India.
According to Phone Radar, the Zen Admire Star runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It is pre-installed with applications such as Zen App Cloud, UC Mini Browser, Vuliv, Saavn, Zen Care app, and NexGenTV.

The Zen Admire Star has a 4.5-inch FWGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 218ppi. It is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. It is packed with a polycarbonate glass panel on the back.
The Zen Admire Star comes with 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD slot, NDTV reported. It is packed with a removable 2000 mAh battery that can provide 200 hours of standby time and up to six hours of talk time.
The Zen Admire Star is a dual SIM smartphone with connectivity options such as Micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, GPRS/Edge, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS/A-GPS, and FM Radio. It comes with an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a gyroscope.
The Zen Admire Star features a 5-megapixels camera at the back with LED flash and 720p video recording capability at 30 frames per second. It also features a 1.3-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats.
Zen Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Kalirona of Indian-based mobile company Zen Mobile stated at the launch that he is confident that the Zen Admire Star is going to be a formidable proposition with its features and low price.
