Pizza, the world's saddest Polar Bear, tries to escape the Grandview Aquarium.
Pizza, tagged as the world's saddest polar bear, has been offered a new home at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in the United Kingdom.
Pizza has been living in a cramped space at the Grandview Aquarium located in Guangzhou, China. Pizza and six other animals--belugas,wolf,walrus calves and artic foxes--are living under horrifying conditions. After several videos and photos of the bear trying to find a way out surfaced online, animal welfare group Animals Asia launched a petition to close down the facility.

Animals Asia has gathered over half a million signatures urging the Aquarium to shut down and release the animals that they have trapped, including Pizza. International news networks and newspapers such as BBC and CNN has featured the group's campaign and described Pizza as the "world's saddest polar bear."
Concerned about the situation, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park has offered Pizza a way out. The park runs the Project Polar Bear which aims to create a habitat for bears.
Animal Welfare Director of Animal Asia, Dave Neale said that in Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Pizza "would not only enjoy incredible facilities, he would also be part of a community of bears."
The offer to transport Pizza to the park only stands as long as Grandview Aquarium agrees not to replace him with another Polar Bear.
