New "Final Fantasy XV" details will feature two battle systems, no difficulty settings and a rumored launch date in the Fall 2016.
Square Enix revealed new gameplay details for "Final Fantasy XV" when the game publisher answered several fan questions during Q&A segment from its official forum page. Square Enxi explained that the sequel will feature two battle system styles as the two styles will enable gamers to dictate the pace of the battle to the point that the gamers can play in intensity befitting their gameplay style. The addition of having two battle systems were the results of the feedback that Square Enix received from the gaming fans during its development stages. Square Enix already teased improvements on the Cross and Slash Link Systems, as well as introducing two types of magics and a Monster climb feature that enables players to attack larger enemies by targeting each body part.
Aside from the two battle systems, Square Enix added that the two battle systems was used to eliminate any specific difficulty settings as "FFXV's" Lead Designer Takizawa Masashi stated that the absents of difficulty settings will be equivalent on how players can manage the two battle systems no matter how strong the A.I. character, damage and even the higher the XP gained, Gematsu reported.
Lead Planner Ishikawa Tomonori teased that size of one of cities in "Final Fantasy XV" such as Altissia as Tomonori explained that Altissia has several and varied locations such as cafes, ship-bourne markets and parks.
Altissia is massive enough that Tomonori stated that developers often got lost in the city and the players will enjoy exploring the city comparing it to a leisurely maze, riding gondolas and eating in several restaurants, GearNuke reported. Square Enix added that Altissia will also feature multiple warp points for faster travel and aerial combat.
In other news, the launch date for "Final Fantasy XV" might happen during the Fall this year as Square Enix Europe is looking for someone to do the game's marketing and promotion.
The job offer is listed in the Square Enix Europe's official website and the job description will last until 12 months, hence the game could launch in the ending months of 2016.
Square Enix will be launching a new Active Time Report that will explain the game's main antagonist from the Niflheim Empire and possibly a new gameplay footage. A special event for "Final Fantasy XV" will be held on March and it is speculated that Square Enix could finally announce its official release date as game director Hajime Tabata already assure gaming fans that the sequel will indeed be out this year.
"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime in 2016 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
