The Samsung Galaxy On8 smartphone is now available in India.
Samsung has officially launched its much-awaited Galaxy On8 smartphone in India.
The Indian subsidiary of South Korean electronics major, Samsung India Electronics, on Tuesday announced that the Galaxy On8 would be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart from October 2. The Samsung Galaxy On8 is priced at Rs 15,900 (approx. $239) and will be available in white, black and gold color.

"The Galaxy On8 is the perfect smartphone for consumers seeking an optimal mix of style, portability, and powerful performance. The device not only looks stylish but also packs a punch with a superior consumer experience with a powerful processor and vivid display," Samsung India's mobile business vice president Manu Sharma said. "We are extremely pleased to announce the new Galaxy On8 exclusively on Flipkart's Big Billion Day Sale."
The company also revealed that the 4G and VoltE-enabled device would come with 'Make in India' features such as Ultra Data Saving and S bike mode.
Samsung Galaxy On8 Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy On8 is equipped with a powerful 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor and comes with 3GB of RAM. It runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system and has 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy series smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel. It features a 13 megapixels autofocus rear camera and a five megapixels front camera along with a front flash light. The dual SIM smartphone also comes with a powerful 3300mAh battery.
