Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is set for a February release, but images of the device circulating in the Internet appear to have a great resemblance to the fanless Android tablets. Aside from all other common tablet features, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with:
- 5,200 mAh battery pack that can last 10 hours
- Windows 10 Pro with LTE Cat 6 support
- Super AMOLED display size of 12 inches; 2160 x 1440 resolution
- 6th-generation, Intel dual-Core M processor
- 4GB of RAM
Weighing 693g and 6.3mm thick, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is lighter and slimmer than its rivals from Apple Inc. and Microsoft. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4, specifically, is 766g and 8.5mm thick. Currently, this Microsoft tablet holds the lightest tablet record, Whathifi reported.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 device users may tap their device on the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S' keyboard and use their fingerprint on the smartphone in order to unlock the tablet. This feature aims to connect the company's Galaxy devices seamlessly, so the users will never have to receive push notifications from the Samsung Galaxy S6 on the surface soon.
Meanwhile, critics are concerned about the fact that Samsung does not appear to keep up with the device name they have created. Reportedly, despite the amazing screen and the popular features, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S does not seem like a tablet of a high professional grade. Experts, according to reports are doubtful if the consumers would be willing to take the risk on a compromise-loaded device.
The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S' current selling price is going to be a deciding factor in determining whether the 2-in-1 tablet is exemplary. A price range that falls between $500 and $700 seems appealing; however, it may imply that the device will not be faster or more efficient like the company's Surface Pro 4 or the Apple Inc.'s iPad Pro.
Meantime, the rumored Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 may appear to have some notable improvements following the market's response of the upcoming release. Samsung is known to bring a flawed version first then go on to change it to earn the approval of the consumers, PC World reported.
