The stylish Gionee S6 Pro smartphone has been released in India.
According to Phone Radar, the Gionee S6 Pro is priced at $360.53 (around Rs. 23,999) with a separate virtual reality headset at a price of $37.54 (approximately Rs. 2499). The device is available for sale in gold and rose gold color. Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is providing an introductory offer of a Saavn Pro subscription for only three months.

The Gionee S6 Pro has a 5.5-inch full high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D glass, Mobipicker reported. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755M Helio P10 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Amigo 3.2 UI.
The Gionee S6 Pro comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It also features a microSD card slot for further storage expansion. The device features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It is packed with a 3130 mAh non-removable battery.
The Gionee S6 Pro sports a physical home button on the front that is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It can be used to unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds. The smartphone supports dual SIM dual standby with its hybrid SIM slots.
The Gionee S6 Pro measures 153 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs 150 grams. Other connectivity options of the device include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, VoLTE, and USB Type-C port. The screen guard and transparent back case are provided within the package for free.
The Jio 4G SIM works perfectly on the Gionee S6 Pro. Jio is offering unlimited 4G data, voice calls, and SMS for free with the Jio Welcome Offer.
