The Vivo Y55L smartphone is now available for purchase in India.
The Vivo Y55L smartphone with 4G VoLTE support has been launched in India.
The budget smartphone from the Chinese tech giant is priced at around Rs 11,980 ( approx. $180). The Dongguan-based Vivo announced on Wednesday that the Vivo Y55L is now available in India both online as well as offline.

At the launch event, Vivo India's newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer Kent Cheng said that Vivo considers India an important market and company is keen to cater to every price point with its innovative products.
"India is a very important market for us because of the maximum smartphone penetration. We want to cater to every price point with our innovative products," Cheng said. "And, through Y55L we want to tap the users that are looking for a smartphone that not just looks great but also delivers the desired results with its overall package."
Vivo Y55L Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y55L features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It comes with a 5.2-inch high definition display and runs on the Funtouch OS 2.6-based Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system. One of the major features of the device is that it comes with 4G VoLTE support.
The Vivo Y55L sports an 8-megapixels rear camera and a 5-megapixels front camera, which comes with a screen flash support. The device has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card
