SalesForce has released a new AI platform called Einstein.
Salesforce unveiled a number of new products and services at its annual event on Wednesday in San Francisco. The company is looking to increase its clout in the burgeoning Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things segments. Salesforce is also integrating its operations by consolidating several of its core components under one umbrella.

The most prominent offering at the conference was its AI platform called Einstein. The company dubbed the platform as "artificial intelligence for everyone." The platform is likely to be integrated into most of the services offered by the company. It will work with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and others.
According to a statement released by Salesforce, Einstein will help the businesses in discovering relevant insights about their customers. It will also assist in predicting future behavior and automating tasks. Einstein works by collecting data and forwarding it to customizable AI models.
Einstein was developed by a team consisting of more than 175 data scientists. This initiative will cover segments such as machine learning, predictive analytics, smart data discovery, and deep learning. Apart from Einstein, Salesforce also elaborated upon its Quip service. Salesforce acquired this productivity app in August this year. The company announced new features for the app such as SSO access and Lightning component.
Salesforce also introduced a new branding initiative for its mobile app. The new feature is called My Salesforce1. Another feature Salesforce1 Forecasting allows a more comprehensive look at a business. The company also announced updates to its Salesforce Platform, which now comes with advanced Lightning Bolt for accelerating the creation of new websites, portals, and communities.
