There are also rumors that the OnePlus 4 will boast of a Snapdragon 830 processor, which is an upgrade from the OnePlus 3's Snapdragon 820. The screen comes in 5.5-inches with a possibly curved and 4K display. OnePlus explained that it will not offer a smaller smartphone because it wants bigger batteries ranging only from 3,500 mAh to 4,000 mAh capacity. The company is also expected to add more elements to the Android OS for a better user experience.
According to iTechPost, the OnePlus 4 may also come with a 21 megapixels rear camera. This is a significant upgrade from the OnePlus 3's 16 megapixels rear camera.
The price of the upcoming smartphone is still unknown at this point but based on OnePlus' previous launches, the OnePlus 4 may come with a $400 price tag. It is likely to come with an aluminum body in sandstone color. There are also rumors that the company may also release the OnePlus 3 Plus, a bigger version of the OnePlus 3 with a Snapdragon 821 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. Both devices could be released in April or May of 2017.
