Asgardia will be the first space nation and anyone can apply for citizenship.

Scientists have created the first country in space, and anyone can apply to become a space citizen of this nation.

This new space nation is known as Asgardia, which aims to save humanity by offering protection from space warfare and by providing a haven from near-Earth objects like space debris, asteroids, and meteors that can potentially crash into Earth and cause global destruction.

Asgardia also aims to launch its first satellite in 2017 to open up commerce, science, and citizens from all nations on Earth to space. The space nation is based on Norse mythology about a city in the heavens ruled by Odin of Valhalla.

The creation of Asgardia was announced last week in Paris. This ambitious space nation is led by Russia's Igor Ashurbeyli who is also the chairman of UNESCO's science of space committee and the Aerospace International Research Center in Austria. Asgardia was created by scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and legal experts from around the world.

Ashurbeyli said that this new space nation would be fully independent and will become part of the United Nations. The nation will stand for peace in space and prevent future space conflicts.

Anyone can apply to be a citizen of Asgardia by submitting your first and last name, email, and country of origin.

This new venture hopes to challenge ideas and concepts of a nation-state by creating a new framework for space activities in terms of regulations and ownership. This new space state will form a new kind of government in space.

By doing so, it hopes to ensure a future peaceful state of space for humanity as opposed to racing to colonize regions in space that can potentially transfer warfare into space.

This new space nation will be covered in a shield to provide protection from man-made and cosmic threats such as space debris, solar flares, and asteroid collisions.
