The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus smartphone has been unveiled for only $221 (£181).

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus has a 5-inch high-definition display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 294ppi. The UK-based Wileyfox added a 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to the device, Phone Radar reported.

According to GSM Specs, the Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus will run on CyanogenOS v13.1 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with the Adreno 505 GPU. The device comes 4G LTE enabled on both of its SIM slots.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz coupled with 450 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard memory that can be extended up to 64 GB via microSD card slot.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus features a 16-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with phase detection autofocus, phase detection, 5P lenses, f/2.2 aperture, dual LED flash, and capability to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. It also comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front with fixed focus for video calling and selfies.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus is designed with a metal uni-body and a fingerprint sensor on the back to enhance the security for the user. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB Type C 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, and NFC.

The Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus measures 143.7 x 71.9 x 8.6 mm with the weight of 155 grams. It is packed with a 2700 mAh battery. It also supports fast charging technology which can charge up to 100 percentages in 100 minutes.

There is still no announcement about the release date and availability of the Wileyfox Swift 2 Plus. However, it will come in gold and gray color.
