It is the twelfth entry in the Call of Duty series and the sequel to the 2012 video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
As the series continues, the first-person shooter video game "Call of Duty" will roll out another chapter this year - "Call of Duty" 2016.
The American video game developer, Infinity Ward, will be developing a new series of this video game, and the next "Call of Duty" game might be one upgrade that would bring excitement to the fans.

Activision has already announced that Infinity Ward would also be one of the video game developers that would be developing "Call of Duty" games together with the other video game developers like Sledgehammer and Treyarch.
After the last launching of Treyarch's twelfth entry in the "Call of Duty" series on the 6th of November 2015, "Call of Duty": Black Ops III gained so much popularity in just a few weeks after the day it was opened to the market. According to Game Bolt, "It appears the good sales numbers were enough to indeed warrant of making another "Call of Duty" game this year."
They also stated that Infinity Ward would likely to develop another version of the sequel. The company just released an ad for a lead game designer. This was a proof that there will be an exciting sequel of the game that would be released soon.
PlayStation Lifestyle also reported and has just listed top 5 issues that will need to be fixed on the last sequel of the "Call of Duty" game, the "Call of Duty": Black Ops III. Probably, this is one of the reasons of future plans emerging with a newer and a better version of the game. It was also heard that the previous creation of Infinity Ward, the Ghosts, which is also one of the series of the "Call of Duty" game, released last 2013 has left some gamers disappointed.
While everyone is waiting for news, trailers, leaks, and any official announcements that are yet to be revealed about the next series of "Call of Duty". It is most likely that the gaming company is trying hard to recover and take back the lost admiration from its gaming fans and enthusiasts.
Moreover, the fans must wait a bit to witness the new installment of "Call of Duty" game. As confirmed by Infinity Ward, it will surely release a better experience game version that gamers have never experienced from the previous installments of "Call of Duty" before. This coming November is the prospect release date of the game basing on the release date schedule of previous games from the franchise.
