Microsoft is expected to release Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 tech trade show.

A new Windows 10 Mobile smartphone built by Microsoft that carries a model number of RM-1182 has been spotted receiving 3C certification in China. Rumors are rife that the smartphone may either release as Lumia 750 or Lumia 850, Nokia Power User reported.

The 3C certification listing has revealed that the alleged Microsoft Lumia 750/850 smartphone will be arriving with a 5.4-inch display. It will carry support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset and 2 GB of RAM.

The handset is going to feature 16 GB of native storage. It is also expected to feature a rear camera of 10 MP. It will be equipped with a high speed Cat. 7 LTE modem for 4G LTE connectivity

As far as rumored specs of the Microsoft Lumia 850 are concerned, it will be featuring a 5.7-inch screen that will support full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 617 chipset and 2 GB of RAM will be present under the hood of the device. It will be featuring a front-facing flash for the frontal camera.

Speculations are rife that the Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 will be unleashed during the MWC 2016 event. The Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 are likely to be released to replace the Lumia 730 and Lumia 830 smartphones from 2014.

Another rumored smartphone, Lumia 650 is expected to release soon as it has already received Federal Communications Comission (FCC) certification in the U.S. All three forthcoming smartphones will deliver Windows 10 Mobile experience out-of-the-box.

Currently, the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550 are the only smartphones that come preinstalled with Windows 10 Mobile OS. The Redmond giant is yet to start the global roll out of Windows 10 Mobile OS. Only users who have registered for the Windows Insider program are able to use the latest test builds of Windows 10 Mobile.  

Fresh information suggests that T-Mobile Lumia 640 users in Poland have started receiving over-the-air (OTA) update of Windows 10 Mobile. The build number is 02177.00000.15184.36002. The carriers in the other regions are also expected to release Windows 10 Mobile OS update soon, WM Power User reported.
