The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's listing in the AnTuTu benchmark, with model number SM-G935A comes with a 12 mega pixel, further confirming this reported fact, according to Expert Reviews.
Despite offering a lower resolution in its main camera, the new camera is rumored to be equipped with an aperture of f/1.7. This will surely make it better for low light photography.
Also, the presence of Samsung's awesome processing software will make the end result in terms of image quality amazing. The users will be able to zoom in up to 16 mega pixels in the clicked photo, without any compromise in the quality of the image. This might also mean that the sensor of the camera in terms of hardware will be less protruding, than what can be seen in Samsung Galaxy S6.
The benchmark listing also reveals that the Galaxy S7 Edge will sport a 5.1-inch display screen only. The users were surely expecting it to be not less than 5.5 inches. This hints that the 5.5 inch model is still unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus.
It is rumored that this mystery device known as Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge may get launched along with the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It could also be a possibility that a 5.5-inch variant does not even exist. Another possibility is that the device which was shown in the benchmark is just a prototype and does not contain the official features of any of the S7 devices.
Other specs in the benchmark include a Snapdragon 820 processor, a RAM of 4 GB, a 5 mega pixel front camera, internal storage capacity of 64 GB, Android Marshmallow out of the box, and a screen resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels.
