The Apple iPhone 6 Plus smartphone's touch disease issue will cost $144 (around Rs. 9900) to be repaired.

Apple addressed the issue last week after users complained about problems with the display of the iPhone 6 Plus. This issue has been described as touch disease since the device's display becomes unresponsive with some lines across the top of the screen.

The Touch Disease issue on the iPhone 6 Plus results in a flickering gray bar across the top of the screen. It usually happens after the device has been dropped several times on a hard surface.

Apple is offering to repair the Touch Disease issue. The repair program was first announced in the U.S., and now it has been reported in India. Users in India can now get their iPhone 6 Plus to the Apple store and get it repaired.

However, the repair of the Touch Disease issue on the iPhone 6 Plus is not for free. It will cost $144 (around Rs. 9900).
