One of Apple's most awaited products, the iPad Pro 2, will hit the shelves soon. With Apple's decision to add more innovative and crucial features and updates to the next generation iPad, one can even easily look over the current Pro with its 12.9-inch screen and powerful tools for its successor.
Here are a few things to know about this highly anticipated new addition to the iPad lineup. According to Smartstock News, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro was released in late 2015. It featured important upgrades which helped Apple strengthen its position in the global market.
However, it is thought that the product will be launched sometime in March 2017. There are rumors that Apple will launch three variants of the next iPad. The variants include an entry-level 9.7-inch model, a mid-range 10.5-inch model, and a high-end 12.9-inch model.
Apple has not yet disclosed any information about the resolution of these new iPads but it has been compared to that of Apple's True Tone technology. According to Pocket-lint, other changes from the current iPad include the removal of the home button and addition of edge-to-edge display.
This could imply that the new version of the iPad will have a thin bezel like its predecessor. Lastly, the iPad Pro 2 is likely to have a fingerprint scanner as well. Likewise, the iPhone 8 is also expected to sport a similar edge-to-edge display and fingerprint scanner like the iPad Pro 2.
