"Pokemon Go" will finally add a trading and PvP battle feature soon. Niantic CEO John Hanke has explained that the delay was caused by issues with the game servers. However, no specific release date has been given for the two new features.
Ever since the launch of "Pokemon Go," players have been clamoring for the PvP battle and trading features to follow just like with most Pokemon games. In fact, some excited gamers even published a YouTube video that shows how the trading feature could work in the future. More Pokemon games have been released in recent months but "Pokemon Go" still has their loyal fans waiting for the release of the two favorite features.
Niantic did not let their loyal fans down as it finally announced the upcoming release of the player vs. player and trading feature. Although no exact date has been given, Niantic says the only reason the features were delayed is because of the server issues the game was experiencing.
"I'll take the massive wave of hysteria we enjoyed, and just deal with the fact that it's caused us to take a bit longer to get the rest of the features up," Hanke added.
However, some players are not sure the new features will be coming soon. It can be recalled that Hanke also promised the coming of the trading update seven months ago. However, it is still not ready today.
Now that Hanke has updated loyal gamers about the real status of the game and the exact reason for the delay, there is a good chance that the two new features for "Pokemon GO" will be available sooner than everyone expects.
