'Pokemon Go' rolled out some updates, its first release for 2017.
The board of Milwaukee county has just implemented an ordinance that requires “Pokemon GO” to get a permit if the company wish to use their parks as a location in the game. Niantic’s game is known to add Pokestops and gyms in almost every park all over the world and Milwaukee county is no exception.

According to reports, the county of Milwaukee implemented the new ordinance in response to the countless number of players visiting its parks regularly. The frequent visits of players is said to have caused a big damage to the park which made them pass the restricting ordinance. The county prefers people to visit the park for the reason of visiting it and not because of the incentives they can get from the game.
“Pokemon GO” first launched late last year and quickly became one of the most downloaded games in the history of mobile games. The game is based on different location in the world, placing Pokestops and Pokegyms in parks, churches, historical sites, landmarks and even graffiti’s.
Although some business does not mind having their place assigned as a Pokestop, there are also places like churches that prefers it if their place is not a Pokestop or gym. Just like Milwaukee county, they prefer people to visit their place because they wanted to and not just because of the game.
Niantic is said to be earning as much as $1 million a day which means acquiring the permit for a fee wouldn’t be a problem. However, it is not certain that Niantic will do the necessary work to get the permit because the game will definitely still survive even if it is already banned in one area or even state. On the other hand, there is no guarantee either that a permit will be given should the company comply with the requirements of the county.
