Rockstar Games, the developers of the highly-anticipated game "Grand Theft Auto 6", are yet to announce any information and updates. The deficiency of information about the game ignited rumors that the game's release date may be not on schedule because of "Red Dead Redemption 2."

According to Tech Radar, "Grand Theft Auto 6" will not have any release date yet as the game will not launch for at least four years. The developers are currently concentrating on the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" that is scheduled to be released this Fall.

Rockstar has supported GTA Online and the multiplayer section of "GTA 5," since the game's launch way back in 2013. Additionally, if "Red Dead Redemption 2's" online section is the same as of GTA Online, surely Rockstar would be busy with that for a few years more.

After 3 years of GTA Online, Rockstar decided to go with another game which is "Red Dead Redemption 2," assuming that another 3 years would be the time that a release for "GTA 6" will happen.

There is an official announcement made by Rockstar President Leslie Benzies that "GTA 6" will surely be coming but other than that, there is no detailed information reported about the upcoming game. The company unveiled that the game is in the works but really cannot say more about the game and its release date.

Moreover, Benzies claimed such by saying that they don't know what "GTA 6" will be, but asserted that they have got some ideas. He further stated that they are working on the game's map and story component.

According to The Christian Post, more speculations have suggested that "GTA 6" would involve virtual reality (VR). If that's the case then it would be a big turning point for a franchise that has always been a mix of first- and third-person gameplay. Fans are suggested to take all of these updates with a grain of salt, until all are officially confirmed.
