Studio Wildcard released a Valentine's Day event for Ark: Survival Evolved and it is scheduled to end on Feb. 20. Ark: Survival Evolved can still benefit from the Valentine's Day event with its exclusive items, dinosaur's mating speed and range and more.

Players during the event will get the ability to get a new character emote and a new hairstyle for both female and male avatars. There is also a 5 percent chance that a box of chocolate will drop whenever dinosaurs breed. The boxes can be used to heal a character back to full health and increase a creature's taming bar up to 50 percent.

The Ark: Survival Evolved Valentine's Day event's main highlight is the bonuses from when dinosaurs breed. All game servers including the official ones which have the command line "-vday" will receive a couple of boosts in the dinosaur's breeding process.

The dinosaurs' mate range is specifically boosted by two times when playing on such servers and the mating speed and recovery will be increased by three times. The creature maturing and egg incubation speed will also increase by three times while the baby food consumption is decreased by a third as well.

There have been some player reports that showed up, saying the chocolates are showing up in their inventories even after they have picked it up. According to reports, a simple Steam client restart after the patch will fix this minor issue. Players should now play and take advantage of the Ark: Survival Evolved Valentine's Day event because it will run only until Feb. 20.
